This week’s schedule started out with a hard fought tie at Warinanco Park on Tuesday night. Nash Warfield was the hitting star for the still winless Wolfpack, going 5 for 5 including a home run

A late rally by St. Ignatius at the always challenging Esposito Park sparked a victory over the reigning champion St. Sebastian squad. Ross Alpert’s double in the bottom of the sixth made the difference.

In another rare game at Warinanco Park, a triple by the speedy Bobby Camisa and a grand slam by Carlos Da Costa sealed the victory for St Anthony. Nam-June Joe led the St. George attack, going 4-5.

Harold Hopler came up on the short end of a pitcher’s duel with Gary Leichtling Thursday night at Brookside Park. Christopher Millar’s 3 run homer for St Joe’s sealed Vincent’s fate.

St Francis held on for a narrow victory Friday night at Farley Park. A rally-killing base running mistake by Tony Perconte nearly cost St. Francis the game when he was cut down at home plate during the late innings.
